KATHMANDU, Nov 19: The “Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare” training, which was conducted with an objective to impart knowledge about counter insurgency and jungle warfare to the Nepal Army as well as foreign military personnel, has successfully concluded, according to the Public Relations Directorate of Nepal Army.
The training was conducted from July 8 at Nepal Army’s Counter Insurgency and Jungle Warfare School in Amlekhgunj. Director General of the Directorate General of Military Training, Niranjan Kumar Shrestha, concluded the training with a final discourse at a program organized at the school.
The program was also attended by senior officers of the Nepal Army, as well as military officers from different countries. A total of 75 Nepal army officers, as well as those from other ranks and five foreign army officers from the United States of America, Kenya, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and South Korea, had taken part in the training.
