Nepal Airlines aircraft en route to Bangalore returns to Kathmandu amid suspicion of bird strike

KATHMANDU, May 27: An aircraft belonging to Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) flying from Kathmandu to Bangalore, India has returned to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) amid suspicion of a bird strike.

KATHMANDU, May 27: An aircraft belonging to Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) flying from Kathmandu to Bangalore, India has returned to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) amid suspicion of a bird strike.


Spokesperson at TIA Teknath Sitaula said that the aircraft with a call sign of RA 244 which flew from Kathmandu to Bangalore at around 2:45 pm on Saturday returned to TIA on suspicion of bird collision.

Sitaula said technicians are currently examining the aircraft.
