NEFIN national general convention on May 11

KATHMANDU, March 4: The eighth national general convention of the Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) is to be held in Chitwan from May 11.



A Secretariat meeting of NEFIN held on Sunday decided to hold its national convention out of the valley for the first time.



Representatives of NEFIN District Coordination Councils from 71 districts, of 59 enlisted indigenous ethnic communities and representatives of NEFIN´s branches abroad will participate in the general convention, said NEFIN.



The three-day general convention will elect a new leadership.
