NeBA prez released from custody

KATHMANDU, March 24: President of Nepal Basketball Association (NeBA), Lama Tendi Sherpa, was released from police custody Tuesday.

Lama was arrested on March 15 from Trichandra College. Police, however, could not produce any reason for his arrest. NeBA had suspended all its activities as a protest against the arrest.

NeBA had organized a press conference Monday demanding Sherpa´s immediate release.
