KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has once again received the ‘Double A Plus (AA+)’ rating from ICRA Nepal, marking its third consecutive year with a high credit rating.
The rating was based on an assessment of NEA’s financial stability, assets, operational efficiency, managerial capacity, and internal and external risk factors. A Double A Plus rating signifies a strong ability to meet financial obligations with minimal risk in transactions.

According to NEA’s press statement, credit ratings help evaluate the financial credibility of institutions, providing insights into their ability to meet debt obligations.
