NEA secures ‘Double A Plus’ credit rating for third consecutive year

KATHMANDU, Feb 16: Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has once again received the ‘Double A Plus (AA+)’ rating from ICRA Nepal, marking its third consecutive year with a high credit rating.


The rating was based on an assessment of NEA’s financial stability, assets, operational efficiency, managerial capacity, and internal and external risk factors. A Double A Plus rating signifies a strong ability to meet financial obligations with minimal risk in transactions.
