KATHMANDU, March 28: With the SLC examinations just around the corner, the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has reduced the current load shedding by one hour a day effective from March 29.
"The NEA has decided to slash the load shedding by one hour a day effective from Thursday in view of the upcoming LSC examinations," an NEA official told Republica Online.

With this new schedule the power-cut will go off for 77 hours a week. Currently power goes for 84 hours per week.
The SLC exams of the year 2016 are scdeduled to begin from March 31.
