KATHMANDU, Aug 20: Province 2 chairperson of ruling Nepal Communist Party Prabhu Shah stepped down on Tuesday.
According to leader Shah’s press advisor Nivesh Kumar, Shah has tendered his resignation to NCP Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

Earlier leadership had assured Shah of elevating to the standing committee, so he remained silent for the sake of party unification campaign. However, during the formation of the standing committee, he was not included. He was disappointed after the party leadership even didn't consult with him while forming the party provincial committee.
His resignation has not been approved yet.
