“Nepali Congress will never join this government as it has already failed in attaining the national goal,” said Nidhi. However, he also said an alternative government was inevitable if Nepal needed to get a new constitution on time.
“Since the Nepali Congress does not have its own capacity to form a government, it is ready to support and join the government if CPN-UML leads it,” Nidhi said.
Nidhi’s comment came a day after Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal claimed he has already talked to NC President Girija Prasad Koirala for including the NC in the government, and that a cabinet reshuffle would take place next week.
