NC will defeat UML candidate for president: NC General Secy Gagan Thapa

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: General Secretary of Nepali Congress (NC) Gagan Kumar Thapa has claimed that his party will defeat the presidential candidate proposed by CPN-UML.

General Secretary Thapa also mentioned that it is natural that they will try their best to defeat the UML candidate for president.

General Secretary Thapa said that since the NC is afraid of a constitutional disaster in the country if the UML candidate is elected as President they will try their best to get the position of President to their side to get rid of that fear.

General Secretary Thapa said that the role of the past president was not effective so they are not in favour of giving UML the  new president.
