KATHMANDU, Sept 21: In a bid to resolve present political crisis, Nepali Congress (NC) has concluded that Mohan Baidya led CPN-Maoist should also be included in the political meetings.

A NC office bearers´ meeting at its president Sushil Koirala´s residence on Friday asserted that consensus among four major forces--UCPN (Maoist), NC, UML and United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF)--cannot seek a way out to resolve present political crisis.[break]

"Implementation of issues resolved by major four forces is not possible. CPN-Maoist and Upendra Yadav-led party should also be included in political talks," NC leader Ram Sharan Mahat said after the meeting.

NC has decided to propose inducting all political parties simultaneously while forging consensus on various contentious issues.

The meeting stressed formation of new national government which will forge consensus among the parties.

"The present government lacks moral grounds to resolve disputed issues. Thus, a new national government should be formed at earliest so that resolved issues will also be implemented," Mahat added.
