KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepali Congress is all set to constitute publicity committee in all 744 local units by coming April 15 in view of civic polls scheduled for May 14.
A meeting of the party central publicity committee held on Monday has issued circular to mandatorily form publicity committee in all districts by April 13, shared NC Central Office Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel.
The meeting issued directive to form the publicity committee in the district under the leadership of the district publicity department chief with Nepal Press Union President or its representative as deputy coordinator.
Likewise, the district publicity committee is mandated to form the publicity committee at all local units within April 15.
The central election mobilization committee has formed a 25-member central publicity committee with central committee member Ramesh Lekhak as coordinator and youth leader Gagan Thapa as deputy coordinator. RSS
