UML, NC and Maoist Center lead in7, 4, and 2 local levels respectively in Dhading

DHADING, May 16: Of the 13 local levels including both municipalities and rural municipalities, 7 seem to be stronghold of UML, 4 of Nepali Congress and 2 of CPN(Maoist Center) given the share of votes they have garnered by the time this news was being prepared.

CPN-UML is taking the lead in Siddhalek Rural Municipality, Rubi Valley Rural Municipality, Dhunibesi Municipality, Galchhi Rural Municipality, Benighat Rural Municipality, Gajuri Rural Municipality and Tripura Sundari Rural Municipality.

 Siddhalek Rural Municipality

UML candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Prem Nath Silwal has garnered 1944 votes, compared to 1407 votes for his closest rival NC candidate Badri Aryal.

Rubi Valley Rural Municipality

UML candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Jiban Tamang has garnered 313 votes, compared to 214 votes for his closest rival NC candidate Kul Bahadur Tamang.

Dhunibesi Municipality

UML candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Bal Krishna Acharya has garnered 3343 votes, compared to 1972 votes for his closest rival Maoist Center candidate Kul Bahadur Tamang.

Galchhi Rural Municipality

UML candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Krishna Hari Shrestha has garnered 3343 votes, compared to 715 votes for his closest rival NC candidate Binod Karki.

Benighat Rural Municipality

UML candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Giriraj Kandel has garnered 790 votes, compared to 693 votes for his closest rival Maoist Center candidate Hari Dallakoti.

Gajuri Rural Municipality

UML candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Rajendra Bikram Basnet has garnered 1491 votes, compared to 926 votes for his closest rival Maoist Center candidate Ganesh Shrestha.

Tripura Sundari Rural Municipality.

UML candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Shambu Thapa has garnered 541 votes, compared to 478 votes for his closest rival Maoist Center candidate Bijay Burlakoti.

Likewise, Nepali Congress(NC) is taking the lead in Nilkanta Municipality, Ganga Jamuna Rural Municipality, Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality and Khaniyabas Rural Municipality.

Nilkanta Municipality

NC candidate for the chief of Municipality Bhim Dhungana has garnered 1021 votes, compared to 321 votes for his closest rival UML candidate Arjun Kumar Shrestha.

Ganga Jamuna Rural Municipality

NC candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Akkal Bahadur Tamang has garnered 1413 votes, compared to 416 votes for his closest rival Maoist Center candidate Nawaraj Adhikari.

Jwalamukhi Rural Municipality

NC candidate for the chief of Municipality Binod Timilsena has garnered 589 votes, compared to 460 votes for his closest rival UML candidate Ram Prasad Adhikari.

 Khaniyabas Rural Municipality

NC candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Renu Bahadur Tamang has garnered 420 votes, compared to 306 votes for his closest rival Maoist Center candidate Sekkeman Ghale.

Likewise, CPN(Maoist Center) is taking the lead in Thakre Rural Municipality and Netrawati Rural Municipality.

Thakre Rural Municipality

Maoist Center candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Yantra Bahadur Thapa has garnered 2909 votes, compared to 2833 votes for his closest rival UML candidate Ram Kumar Acharya.

 Netrawati Rural Municipality

Maoist Center candidate for the chief of Rural Municipality Thakur Gurung has garnered 1047 votes, compared to 1007 votes for his closest rival NC candidate Tek Jung Lama.
