Talking to media after his health check-up this morning, Dr Karbirnath Yogi said Koirala´s health has shown significant progress, and the chest infection has also decreased.
Koirala may be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday after an ECG and other tests including blood examination is carried out tomorrow, Dr Yogi said.
Koirala has begun eating normal food and is recuperating at the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj.
