KATHMANDU, March 24: Nepali Congress former General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula, who is receiving treatment for various health problems at HAMS Hospital in Kathmandu, is recuperating, said a statement issued by the doctors involved in his treatment.
Sitaula has been admitted into an intensive care unit, and his health is improving, read the statement issued by Dr Bhashkar Raj Panta and ICU in-charge Dr Sabin Koirala, who are attending to NC leader Sitaula.
UML leader Adhikari recuperating
Sitaula was admitted to the hospital on Friday evening after suffering some health problems. The counts of his haemoglobin were down, and his blood pressure level lowered, said the doctors. Blood was transfused to Sitaula on Friday and Saturday.
His well-wishers organised a blood donation programme in the hospital premises today.
