NC not in favor of preserving alliance by leaving national concerns: Bishwakarma

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Min Bahadur Bishwakarma has said that the issue of the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement has been mocked at such a rate that it has even put the international relations of the country in a very difficult situation.

KATHMANDU, Feb 8: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Min Bahadur Bishwakarma has said that the issue of the US-funded Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement has been mocked at such a rate that it has even put the international relations of the country in a very difficult situation. 


He said that the people will not trust the ruling alliance if political parties try to preserve the coalition by mocking the issue of MCC which is a matter of national concern.

Similarly, Bishwakarma said that the NC is not in favor of leaving a matter of national concern just to save the parties’ alliance. He claimed that other political parties including the main opposition party are in favor of concluding the elections under the leadership of the Nepali Congress (NC). He said that the NC will make full efforts to keep the elections free and fair.
