NC, Maoist Center continue dialogue on allocation of vacant National Assembly member seats

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have continued discussions regarding the allocation of vacant seats in the National Assembly. The dialogue between the two parties is ongoing today as well.

KATHMANDU, Jan 3: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have continued discussions regarding the allocation of vacant seats in the National Assembly. The dialogue between the two parties is ongoing today as well.


CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman and Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Deputy Prime Minister Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Barshaman Pun from Maoist center are participating in the bilateral discussion at Baluwatar, the official residence of the Prime Minister, while NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Deputy President Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa and others are participating from NC.

Earlier on Tuesday, too, a discussion was held between the top leaders of the two parties. However, after a final decision could not be reached, the discussion is being held today as well.
