KATHMANDU, Dec 30: Former lawmakers of the Nepali Congress (NC) have asked the NC leadership to come clear by adopting a theory-based policy and pragmatic programs for implementation to regain the party's lost strength.

At a program organized in the capital city today, former lawmaker Homnath Dahal presented a paper on NC's revival and said internal mismanagement, non-performance, oppositions' unity and attack on NC a, as well as the displeasure of people during the NC-led government, are the major reasons for NC's defeat in the polls.

Likewise, NC former lawmaker Omkar Prasad Shrestha asked the NC leaders not to trade barbs rather to move ahead by correcting the past mistakes in organization, working style and statute.

Similarly, NC's leader Bipin Koirala said that the NC's failure to grasp the nationalist wave spread across the globe was the main reason for the party's defeat.

Also speaking at the program, NC leader Deep Kumar Upadhyay claimed that revival of the NC is still possible as the party's popular vote has not decreased.

Another former NC lawmaker Tarani Dutt Chataut said that this was not the time to worry in NC's defeat while analyzing other parties' votes. RSS
