KATHMANDU, Nov 15: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Prakash Man Singh has expressed dissatisfaction over party president and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba’s decision to hold the party’s Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting at his residence.
Stating that there is an office available for holding such meetings, leader Singh expressed deep concerns over the meeting being held at PM Deuba’s residence. Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Monday, he sarcastically said that the PM had called the central committee meeting at his house because he thought none of the members had visited Budhanilkantha before.
Dissatisfaction mounts in NC over CWC meeting delay
While alleging that Deuba had grossly misused his powers, Singh said that the ward and municipal convention of his home district in Dadeldhura will not be accepted. He argued that the conventions were held in the presence of high security.
Singh urged the party’s leadership to immediately implement the decision made by the CWCmeeting to give priority to old working members in the region where disputes have surfaced within the party.
