NC leader freed after 8 days

LAHAN, May 18: Former general council member of Nepali Congress (NC) and ex-chairperson of the VDC Bal Krishna Yadav has been freed after eight days of abduction Tuesday morning.



He was abducted from his house in Sothiyain on last Tuesday. [break]



In a joint massive search by Nepal and India Police, he was found in a house at Babubarahi village of Bihar, India.



The abductors ran away leaving Yadav at the house police approached the place, said Superintendent of Police (SP), Ramesh Kumar Bhattarai.



Yadav will come in contact with family by this afternoon, police informed.
