A team led by the acting president of the NC Lalitpur, Nabaraj Mahat reached the ministry and submitted the memo.

Receiving the memo, State Minister Mahato said the VDC could not be included in the municipality due to technical problems as the outline map was prepared 10 years ago.

He however informed the delegation that the government was mulling formation of a taskforce to entrust with undertaking a necessary survey at the earliest.

Earlier, there was a plan to declare the municipality including Thecho VDC and Champapur (Chapagaun) in line with the sketch.

NC Lalitpur has voiced its concerns after Jharuwarasi VDC, instead of Thecho, was included in the municipality.
