BIRATNAGAR, Oct 13: A meeting of the Koshi Province Nepali Congress (NC) Working Committee has requested the eight provincial assembly members who rebelled to withdraw the decision taken against the party decision.
Chief Whip of NC Koshi Province Parliamentary Party Bhupendra Rai said that the meeting held today in Biratnagar decided to ask eight provincial assembly members, who took decision against the party’s official decision, to withdraw their earlier decision.

Rai emphasized that the NC has been fully adhering to the decision made by the coalition party and has also chosen to support Indra Bahadur Angno, the leader of the parliamentary party of the CPN-Maoist Center, as the Chief Minister.
After the decision of ruling coalition partners to appoint Indra Bahadur Angbo from the CPN (Maoist Center) as the Chief Minister of Koshi Province, NC provincial assembly member Kedar Karki, with the support of CPN-UML and seven NC provincial assembly members, had staked a claim for the position of Koshi Province Chief Minister, countering the coalition's decision.
