NC expels rebel candidate

DANG, Oct 20: The Dang district committee of Nepali Congress (NC) has expelled Lila Ram Khanal, who filed candidacy from Dang´s constituency number 1 alongside his own party´s candidate Parbati DC Chaudhary.



The party leaders have said that the central committee (CC) meeting of the party has decided to expel Khanal. "He [Khanal] has been relieved from all party responsibilities including the party´s ordinary membership," said a party leder said. [break]
