The district presidents attended the lunch party thrown by Lalitpur District President Madan Amatya at Ekantakuna Monday morning. In the evening they attended a dinner party hosted by NC Kathmandu District President Bhimsen Das Pradhan in Kalimati.[break]
According to Dhading District President Ram Nath Adhikari, NC Vice President and Parliamentary Party leader Ram Chandra Paudel has invited the district presidents for lunch at Amrit Bhog, Kaliksthan on Tuesday morning. The party´s senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba has also invited the district presidents for dinner on Tuesday.
However, President Sushil Koirala has not organized such party.
NC Nuwakot District President and parliamentarian Jagadish Narsingh KC said it is natural for senior leaders to organize such parties because rarely do all district presidents come to Kathmandu at the same time.

"There has not been any formal decision. But we are mulling boycotting the lunch and dinner party to express our dissatisfaction over their failure to attend the gathering of district presidents," said lawmaker Kiran Yadav.
