NC CWC meeting slated for Wednesday to strike deal on party statute

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: A Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress held at the central party headquarters in Sanepa dwelled on the proposed party statute amendment draft on Tuesday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 4: A Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting of the Nepali Congress held at the central party headquarters in Sanepa dwelled on the proposed party statute amendment draft on Tuesday.


The Statute Amendment Draft Committee led by leader Purna Bahadur Khadka had submitted a statute amendment draft proposal at the CWC meeting on November 25.

Various NC leaders including NP Saud, Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Dhanraj Gurung, Gagan Thapa, Govinda Bhattarai, Grururaj Ghimire, Chinkaji Shrestha, Laxmi Pariyar among others expressed their views over the proposed statue amendment draft in the meeting which was chaired by President Sher Bahadur Deuba.


The CWC meeting will also take place on Wednesday at 11 am. It is expected that the meeting will strike a deal on the proposed statute amendment draft. 


The party is going to hold its Mahasamiti meeting in Kathmandu on December 14-18 to amend the party statute.
