KATHMANDU, May 3: Nepali Congress (NC) has said that it could enter into electoral alliance with any political parties as per the need of the NC's local level mechanism as the candidacy nomination for May 14 election is already over.

At a press conference organised by NC's Central Publicity Coordination Sub-Committee at the party's central office at Sanepa today, NC shared that it has already fielded its candidates for all local units in the first phase of election.

Coordinator of the Sub-Committee and Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport Ramesh Lekhak said the public can't wait for the Election Day to cast its vote to the candidates of their choice.

Expressing his confidence that the constitution second amendment bill registered at the parliament would be endorsed at the earliest, Minister Lekhak asserted that second constitution amendment bill seeks to accommodate all the political parties and according to the latest amendment, all political parties could contest in the poll.

He also shared that the NC would soon nominate its candidate for the Minister for Home Affairs that has remained vacant in the cabinet following the resignation of Bimalendra Nidhi. RSS
