KATHMANDU, Dec 9: Nepali Congress (NC) Acting Chair Purna Bahadur Khadka, along with General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwa Prakash Sharma, is set to hold virtual discussions with the party’s 77 district chiefs on Wednesday morning.
“The program to interact virtually with district chiefs is scheduled for tomorrow [i.e. Wednesday] morning,” said Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Paudel.

The discussions will cover various topics including renewal and distribution of active membership, and the recommendation of candidates for the National Assembly and both direct and proportional representation seats in the House of Representatives (HoR).
The party has scheduled its 15th General Convention from January 10 to 12, with ward-level conventions starting from January 1. Active membership lists are expected to be finalized and submitted to the Election Committee ahead of these events.
