Tara Devi set three national records in women's 75 kg event as she lifted 71 kg in snatch and 95 in clean and jerk with total weight of 166 kg.Earlier, Tara Devi had set national records lifting 162 kg, including 68 kg in snatch and 94 kg in clean and jerk, during the Fourth Grand Prix held in Lalitpur.
Similarly, Gagan set national record in snatch section lifting 113 kg in men's 105 kg event. Madan Shiva Bhakti had earlier set the national record in the section lifting 112 kg during the Eighth South Asian Games. Gagan lifted 137 kg in clean and jerk.
Likewise, Pukar also set a new national record in snatch section as he lifted 123 kg in men's 105 kg and above category.
Earlier the national record was in the name of Gopal Bahadur Shrestha, who had lifted 112 kg during the Ninth South Asian Games held in Islamabad.
Pukar lifted 142 kg in clean and jerk.
