Organizing a press meet in the capital on Wednesday, the host informed that the tournament will feature five events with a separate event only for the national players preparing for the 12th South Asian Games.
Only players who will fall within top 16 ranks will get a chance to play in the section, while other events are for open men and double, boys' U-14, mixed double and veterans (45 and above).
The total cash prize of the tournament is Rs 550,000. The winner and runner-up will bag Rs 100,000 and Rs 50,000, respectively, in men's doubles, while winner and runner-up in singles event will take Rs 50,000 and Rs 25,000.
Likewise, the winners and runners-up in mixed doubles and veterans will claim Rs 30,000 and Rs 15,000, respectively, and the winner and runner-up in boys' U-14 singles will take home Rs 15,000 and Rs 7,000 respectively.
