National Assembly recommends election of upper house chair on March 12

KATHMANDU, Feb 4: The National Assembly has proposed the election for the position of the upper house chairperson for March 12.

Ganesh Prasad Timilsina’s term as the chairperson of the National Assembly ends on March 4. After that, the chairperson is going to be elected through the election.

The National Assembly has outlined a schedule to conduct the election within one week of Timalsina stepping down from his post.
