According to Lok Bahadur Khatri, spokesperson at the Ministry of Tourism and State Restructuring, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to open the palace-turned-museum amidst a program on February 26.
The government had turned the palace into a museum in June after then King Gyanendra left the palace following the abolition of the monarchy.
