Sipradi is delivering about 250 units on the day. It had booked 352 units of Nano during the 10-day period in late June.[break]
“We won´t deliver all the vehicles on the same day because banks delayed the processing of documents due to fiscal year end,” an official of Sipradi Trading told Republica on Sunday.
According to the official, customers purchasing with cash and those whose documents have already been processed by the bank will get delivery in the first stage. The company will deliver other units as soon as the bank completes processing of the documents.
“For the customers outside the Valley, we will make sure that the cars will be delivered in their city. They can still get the cars from Kathmandu itself if they want to,” the official added.
Sipradi is resuming bookings for Nano -- dubbed the cheapest car in the world - from coming Sunday.
