KATHMANDU, August 20: 'Herald College Kathmandu presents Nagarik Daily Education and Career Fair 2017’ successfully came to an end on Saturday at Hotel de Annapurna, Durbar Marg. 


The fair was organized in association with Kathmandu Don Bosco College (KDBC) and Asian Institute of Technology and Management (AITM), co- sponsored by Hub Int'l Education and supported by Uniglobe College targeting the recent Grade XII graduates.

The two-day fair saw the participation of students from various levels and disciplines with their parents inquiring about different courses, job prospects, participating colleges’ education quality, teaching methodologies and credibility of the universities they were affiliated to. 


Different colleges, with affiliation to different national and international universities, were seen offering various academic programs such as Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), Bachelor of Social Work, Bachelor in Hotel Management (BHM), Bachelor of Information Technology and Bachelor of Rural Development, among others.


The visiting students also received counseling on various part-time jobs and possible internship programs with Growth Sellers Consultancy Private Limited as the career partner for the event.


The entrance to the event was free, while visitors won gift hampers through lucky draws. About 300 people also won free movie tickets from BSR Movies, the entertainment partner of the fair.
