‘NADA Auto Show 2019’, auto lovers’ heaven

The 14th edition of ‘NADA Auto Show’ kicked off at Bhrikutimandap on Tuesday.

The 14th edition of ‘NADA Auto Show’ kicked off at Bhrikutimandap on Tuesday. NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal organized six-day exhibition of the latest automobiles which is managed by Global Exposition and Management Services. The exhibition features a total of 95 stalls displaying different brands of four-wheelers, two-wheelers, automobile lubricants, spare parts, batteries, among others.


Suzuki’s Smart Hybrid System


Suzuki has introduced four new models of car—Ciaz, Ertiga, S Cross, and Xl 6 in NADA Auto Show. These models have Smart Hybrid System. That means these models come with various features like extra fuel efficiency (around 20 percent more than normal vehicles), less carbon emission, etc. Speaking about NADA Auto Show and the brand Suzuki, Karun Shakya —Marketing Manager of CG|Motocorp says that NADA is the best platform to bridge the gap between customers and suppliers. And he added, “This is the best time to buy a car. So for more information do visit our stall.”

Renault launches Triber in Nepal


In the exhibition, Renault stall is displaying car models such as Duster, Captur, and Kwid. The company has launched its brand new model ‘Triber’ in NADA. Triber has the capacity to accommodate up to seven adults comfortably. Powered by a one-liter petrol-engine, the car comes in less than 4 meters in length and has four airbags meant for driver, passenger, and front sides.


Bajaj’s 200NS and 160 NS motorcycles on display


At Bajaj’s stall in the show, one can witness 200 NS and 160 NS modeled motorbikes. These models come in categories like sports, fighter, etc. These bikes have better grip and stability having tubeless tyres, high strength chassis (perimeter frame and swing arm), powerful DC headlamp and board tyres for safety. Meanwhile, you can also participate in a special scratch coupon offer ‘Bajaj Bhavisyabani’. In this offer, the customer can scratch two coupons—first before buying the product and second after the purchase of the product—where one can win up to Rs 100,000 cash prize.


TVS attracts around 1,000 customers for inquiries 


“We are happy to be a part of the exhibition and we are receiving good foot fall of customers. More than 800 customer inquiries were recorded on the first day of expo,” said Deepak Agrawal, vice president of Jagadamba Auto Groups. The company is showcasing various models of two-wheelers including Jupiter Classic, Vivo, Ntorq, and TVS Radeon. “TVS stands for quality and recommend everyone to visit our stall for more information,” said Agrawal.


Antique Datsun 240Z at NADA 


Datsun has been showcasing several models of car at NADA Show including New Go and Redi Go. These latest models come with some additional features like Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD). However, highlight of the show is Datsun 240Z. According to the promoter at the stall of Datsun, Datsun 240Z is an antique model designed in 1968.
