NAC pays over Rs 530 million in installments

The NAC paid Rs 539.6 million as the installments for the loans taken from the Employees' Provident Fund and the Citizen Investment Trust to purchase two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft for international flights.

KATHMANDU, Jan 16: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has paid the loan installments for the purchased aircraft, covering up to the month of Poush (mid-December to mid-January).


The NAC paid Rs 539.6 million as the installments for the loans taken from the Employees' Provident Fund and the Citizen Investment Trust to purchase two narrow-body and two wide-body aircraft for international flights.

The NAC has fully paid the amount for two narrow-body aircraft and partially for two wide-body aircraft.


Since the current leadership took over the management, the NAC has paid a total of Rs 6.86 billion in installments up to the end of Poush 2081 BS.
