Rajendra Rai, 37, the Nepal Army (NA) lance corporal currently deployed in the Hetauda-based Suparitar Central Division Brigade of the NA died in the incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Prabin Lal Shrestha said.
The tipper (Ba 3 Kha 7835) hit the motorcycle after the hotelier, Keshav Bhandari of Lamosanghu in Sindhpalchowk, drove the vehicle when the tipper driver was dining in Bhandari's hotel at Pepsikola.
Bhandari is absconding after the incident while the police have impounded the tipper, DSP Shrestha said. RSS
