Head constable Suresh Sahani of Piprahi, Bara district, was injured after Samba Tamang of Chilime-7 attacked Sahani with a khukuri on his head while the latter was on his way to arrest Tamang. District Police Office informed that Tamang was absconding for the past three years after killing a man.
Rasuwa District Hospital has referred the injured to Kathmandu for further treatment. Sahani has received 12 stitches on his head after the injury.
