GORKHA, Aug 26: The Mugling-Anbu Khaireni road section has been closed today from 6:30 AM for around four hours.
The District Administration Office of Tanahun has stated that the road has been completely closed from 6:30 AM and will remain closed till 10:00 AM today to retrieve an Indian-registered bus that met with an accident in the Marsyangdi River.

On the morning of August 23, a bus carrying Indian tourists from Pokhara to Kathmandu fell into the Marsyangdi River at Aaina Pahara in Ward 2 of Anbu Khaireni Rural Municipality, resulting in the deaths of 27 people and injuries to 16 others.
Although the bodies have been retrieved and sent back to India, the bus has not yet been retrieved. Administrative Officer Maita Bahadur Gurung of the District Administration Office, Tanahun, stated in a notice that the Mugling-Anbu Khaireni road section will be completely closed from 6:30 AM today, as large machinery will be used to recover the bus.
