Ram Shankar Mandal, 35, General Secretary of Madhesi Factory Laborer Forum-Nepal was shot dead by an unidentified Indian number plate motorbike –borne assailants at the regional office premises of the Agricultural Inputs Company in Birgunj-14. Mandal died on the spot at the incident site.[break]
According to Sujan Joshi, Inspector at Ward Police Office, Birta, Mandal visited the company to collect fertilizers. His body has been kept at Narayani Regional Hospital.
