Nembang, who represents Ilam-2 in the House of Representatives, expressed his commitment to addressing the needs of the local community. He said his election to parliament was possible due to the support of Ilam’s residents, and he would work effectively to resolve their issues. “I will pay special attention to identifying and addressing the challenges facing Ilam,” he said.
Nembang said that the lack of some legal and policy arrangements has hindered good governance. “While there is considerable development activity and policy creation, the implementation often falls short due to governance gaps,” he said. He urged everyone to cooperate and play a coordinating role in ensuring that projects are completed and laws are enforced.
Nembang expressed his willingness to push for policy amendments in various sectors like agriculture, education, health, and tourism to promote their development. “If policies require adjustments to boost these sectors, I will focus on making those changes,” he added.
As he set his priorities for parliament, Nembang pledged to honor the faith and integrity shown by his late father, Subash Chandra Nembang. “I will work with the same dedication and integrity as my father showed throughout his career,” he added.
