KATHMANDU, April 30: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the monarchy would never return as it had been abolished with the establishment of the present democracy through people's struggle.
While addressing the inaugural session of the Ninth National General Convention of the National People's Cultural Federation, Nepal in the capital on Wednesday, Prime Minister Oli said that a bunch of 'fools' who do not want to be free citizens but become serfs even in a republic have been opposing this system. “They see everything negative in it,” he said.

PM Oli, who is also the Chairman of CPN-UML, urged one and all to intensify their creative campaign for prosperity, freedom and peace for the people. "The whole forest resounds with the howling of a few jackals at night. Nothing happens with the mere howling of the foxes. If anyone dreams of becoming a king now, that is a mere dream. Such tendencies should be driven away by playing the 'cultural dhyangro (drum)' in a strong manner. We all should move ahead through collaboration in this task," he said.
Stating that there would be no shortage of audience watching positive and inspiring films and plays in favour of the country and the people, PM Oli stressed the need of producing films and dramas that protect and promote the diversity of the country including culture, art and language.
