MoHP releases updated information on free health services

The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has released detailed information on free health services meant for citizens.

KATHMANDU, April 12: The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has released detailed information on free health services meant for citizens.


The information includes a list of the free services, the target groups and the locations where these services can be accessed. The comprehensive information is now available on the MoHP's official website-  www.mohp.gov.np.

The MoHP provides free treatment for a range of health conditions including kidney disease, heart disease, cancer, Parkinson, Alzheimer, spinal injury, head injury, sickle cell anemia and burns for patients of various age groups. 


The updates followed the instruction from Minister for Health and Population Pradip Paudel towards that end. 


"We wish the information about free health services to be easily accessible to every citizen. We believe that none should face restrictions in accessing the information about the public services," Minister Poudel said.
