KATHMANDU, April 5: The Ministry of Education (MoE) has begun the process of restructuring the education administration in line with the new federal system.
A working committee formed to recommend the structure of education administration in local units has prepared a preliminary draft, said Shanta Bahadur Shrestha, secretary at the ministry.
“As the permanent structures of local administration and laws are yet to be developed, we have planned to manage an administrative system working for the education sector as part of the integrated delivery system of governance,” he added.
According to the draft prepared by the committee led by Joint-Secretary Surya Prasad Gautam, 1,053 resource persons assigned under the existing system will coordinate in the education system.
