The company has officially introduced its multibrand electronics showroom at Maharajgung in Kathmandu recently, which can be a good shopping destination for those who want to check out multibrand products under one roof. In order to buy the products under the company´s hire purchase scheme, one has to either provide the land or house ownership certificate or a letter from his or her office, mentioning the salary.
"The main objective of the store is to provide hassle-free shopping experience to customers so that they do not have to roam around to buy products of different brands. Toshiba, Godrej, Onida, Rica, Kelvinator, Nokia, Samsung, LG and Dell are the major brands available at the store," said Darshandhari
The store features Toshiba products such as LCD TV, LED TV, refrigerator and washing machine, all imported from Japan. LCD and LED TVs are available in the range of Rs 37,090 to Rs 159,000 whereas refrigerators and washing machines are available in the range of Rs 20,000 to Rs 50,000.
Though LED TVs are expensive compared to LCDs, demand for LED TV is higher in the market as it consumes less power, has longer life and has high picture quality.
Similarly, the store also has Godrej refrigerators and washing machines, which are imported from India and are available in the range of Rs 17,000 to Rs 30,000, whereas Godrej microwave oven is available in the range of Rs 22,000 to Rs 75,000.
Onida brand products such as LCD TV, CRT TV and home appliances imported from India are also available at the store. LCD monitors of 22-inch to 32-inch are available from Rs 29,000 to Rs 50,000. Different home appliances such as rice cooker, iron, emergency light, pressure cooker, among others, are available in the range of Rs 600 to Rs 3,000.
Kelvinator brand refrigerators imported from the USA are also available at the store in the range of Rs 15,000 to Rs 19,000.
Besides, the store also has mobile sets of Nokia, Samsung and LG brands.
