Whereabouts of Kishor, who was reportedly kidnapped on August 6, is still unknown. However, police believe that Kishor is safe and probably in India.
“This is a case of self-abduction,” Govinda Thapaliya, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), told a press conference on Tuesday. “He planned his own kidnapping after his family did not fulfill his demands.
Police claimed Kishor´s friends, who are involved in networking business, had kidnapped him as per an agreed plan. “Kishor had planned to collect the ransom money and invest in networking business,” DSP Thapaliya added.
An unidentified person had called Kishor´s mother Nuna Kumari demanding Rs 10 million. But they later settled for Rs 1.5 million. However, no one came to collect ransom. Neither has anyone called Nuna Kumari since.
However, Kishor´s family is in no mood to believe what police has concluded. “A young boy can not make such a plan,” Kishor´s father Ram Prasad said.
