DANG, July 15: A minor has drowned in an irrigation canal in Dang.

The deceased has been identified as 18-months-old Shishir Khatri, son of Harka Bahadur Khatri of Ghorahi Sub Metropolitan city-6 in the district, said police. The minor was found drowned in the canal at around 9:00 pm last night.
Meanwhile, Bhupal BK, 60, of Babai Rural Municipality-1 in the district has gone missing after being swept away by the flooded Babai River on Sunday.
