KATHMANDU, June 6: The ministry-wise discussion on various titles of the Appropriation Bill, 2079 began in the House of Representatives (HoR) from today.
The discussions on various titles of the Appropriation Bill, 2079, will continue on Wednesday and Thursday as well. Discussions will be held at the rate of seven ministries a day out of a total of 21 ministries. The ministers concerned are scheduled to answer the questions raised during the discussions on June 9 and 10.
Discussion on Appropriation Bill to continue tomorrow
Today, the discussions will be held on various topics of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs; Ministry of Youth and Sports; Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security; Ministry of Forest and Environment; Ministry of Urban Development; Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation; and Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens.
Similarly, on Tuesday, the discussions will be held on various topics of the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development; Ministry of Education, Science and Technology; Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies; Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation; Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport; Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and Ministry of Drinking Water.
Likewise, on Wednesday, discussions will be held on the various issues of the Ministry of Finance; Ministry of Health and Population; Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration; Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation; Ministry of Communications and Information Technology; Ministry of Home Affairs; Secretariat of the National Planning Commission; Ministry of Defense; Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers; and the offices of the President and the Vice President.
The meeting of the HoR is currently underway at the federal parliament building in Kathmandu.
