KATHMANDU, Jan 25: Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Devendra Poudel has directed the Office of the Controller of Examinations under Tribhuvan University (TU) to publish the results of the past exams without any further delay.
The direction from the minister follows rising concerns from students in response to the delay in publishing the results by the university. Minister Poudel also visited the examination controller office in Balkhu on Tuesday over the matter.

On the occasion, Minister Poudel showed readiness in improving the exam controller office but also clarified that the exam results should not be delayed by blaming it on the lack of manpower. He said that TU should adopt the 'fast track' to publish the results of the examinations on time but not delay it.
According to Exam Controller Pushpa Raj Joshi, the lack of manpower and the high number of students affiliated with TU are the reasons behind the delay in publishing the results.
