Giri, who is also Chairman of Nepal Sadbhawana Party (Anandi Devi), and her supporters had been staging a sit-in demanding that the parliament allow her to use the parliamentary party office of NSP (Anandi Devi).

The parliament secretariat is planning to vacate the office used by Giri after the Supreme Court and the Election Commission legitimised the NSP (Anandi Devi) led by lawmaker Shyam Sundar Gupta.

On Wednesday, Marshals were used to disperse Giri and her supporters from the parliament secretariat premises.
