KATHMANDU, May 1: Minister of Industry, Commerce and Supplies Damodar Bhandari has requested Vice Chairman of the Tibet Autonomous Region of China, Lang Fukuan, to facilitate Nepali exporters in Chinese customs and quarantine.
In a meeting held at the Ministry of Industry in Singha Durbar on Tuesday, Minister Bhandari asked the Chinese government to facilitate the Nepali exporters regarding China’s customs and quarantine procedures for easy access of Nepali products to China, and organizing the trading points of both countries.

"We anticipate that Nepali products will gain greater access to the Chinese market through the establishment of testing laboratory facilities at the primary customs point of Xinjiang, China, which shares a border with Nepal," said his secretariat, quoting Minister Bhandari.
