Participants gave a mixed opinion about the visitor turnout. Some of the participants were overwhelmed with quality visitors while others said the number of visitors was not satisfactory.
Apar Thebe, chief-executive of Ebuzz!asia, said the company is in the phase of branding and the SofTech gave it the perfect platform. “We are encouraged with the number of enquires we got through out the event,” he added.
Pramod Shrestha of Sagar Infosys had a piece of advice for the organizers: They should focus more on promotion. “The number of visitors should be more in an event like this,” he said.
The event also featured workshop on e-NGO and Network Detectives. Secretary of Computer Association of Nepal (CAN) Amrit Pant said the event was a successful one. “The people´s perception about software has tremendously changed and the credit for this goes to SofTech to a large extent,” he said.
He added the event might have disappointed those who were targeting big volume sales but those who wanted a platform to showcase their developments are satisfied.
